Why did you get into fitness (and CrossFit)?
I played competitive soccer growing up. It was my main sport, but I also played many other sports as well. I have always had a competitive edge and found that being an athlete is one of my passions. When I found CrossFit I felt like I was in my element again.

I became a trainer because I really enjoyed being in the CrossFit environment. It changed my life in so many positive ways and I wanted to be apart of changing other people’s lives.

Why did you get into fitness (and CrossFit)?
I have been athletic my whole life and heavily involved with competitive team sports throughout high school and then college. After I graduated, I really missed the team atmosphere and HATED ‘going to the gym’. I moved to a different city and was looking for something new to do in order to meet fun people, (and I guess get back into shape) and my brother recommended CrossFit. I tried it once and was hooked! I loved the community aspect and it satisfied my cravings of a ‘team-like-sport’, but with the option of being competitive. I’ve never looked back!
Why did you become a trainer?
Being a Physical Therapist by day, I truly have a passion for helping people overcome obstacles, whether it be an injury or getting that first-ever strict pull-up. There is nothing better than seeing people reach their personal goals, and being able to be part of that is an honor!
What’s your favorite CrossFit movement?
Well, I was going to say Wall Balls and Burpees, but I guess that makes me slightly insane. So I’ll go with Box jumps and Overhead Squats 🙂
What is your favorite cheat food?
I can only choose one?! Then I’ll have to say Salt and Vinegar Kettle Cooked Chips.
Who’s your favorite Superhero and why?
Superman. Being able to fly would be AMAZING!

Why did you become a trainer?
I have always had a strong passion for helping others. After starting CrossFit I realized what a major role it played in my everyday life and how it changed so many things for me for the better; I lost weight, gained muscle, learned skills I could only ever dream of and self confidence I didn’t know I needed. I wanted to share how great CrossFit was with anyone who would stop and listen to me and what better way then in a class setting. I love watching members hit PRs, learn new skills, refine old ones and sell their souls in a workout with like minded individuals.
