Karen Arnold, Saturday April 4th, the world lost a dear friend and a smile that could brighten any room, Karen Arnold.“Lift something heavy and eat a cupcake!” was her tagline. Karen was a pillar in the CrossFit, Gymnastics and Power Lifting communities here in Alaska for many years. Coaching at CFNX, CFAnc, CFAK, Anchorage Gymnastics Association, youth Power Lifting. She had a passion for lifting heavy, coaching kids, handstands and participating in every community event possible. Karen always had a smile and words of positivity and encouragement for everyone. She and her husband Derick moved to Nebraska in 2016 and in 2018 she became the owner and head trainer at Xtreme Performance and Conditioning. Our thoughts and prayers are with Karen’s family, gym family and friends as we all process this unexpected loss.We as an Alaskan CrossFit community would like to invite you all to join us in “Karen Arnold” a workout to honor our dear friend.
